FREE Clean Energy Financing Workshop for Local Governments (Virtual Event)

The Great Falls Group of the Virginia Sierra Club is hosting a FREE workshop on budget-neutral, clean energy financing alternatives for local governments. This event will focus largely on funding approaches for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects (e.g., Solar Power Purchase Agreements and Energy Savings Performance Contracts). Virginia-based subject matter experts will provide attendees with an overview of these alternatives and will answer questions.

The attendees will primarily be elected officials and staff from localities in Northern Virginia. In addition, limited space will be available for other individuals interested in learning more about alternative financing approaches.

Registration is required for organizational purposes. We hope you can attend in person. However, Channel 16 will be filming the workshop for future viewing. If you are unable to attend but are interested in viewing the Channel 16 broadcast or receiving the workshop Power Point presentation, please register as a “virtual attendee” and we will E-mail you in early September with a link to the workshop presentations and Channel 16 broadcast details.

This is a brown bag event. There is an on-site cafeteria on the basement level of the Government Center if you want to obtain lunch prior to the workshop.

The workshop has limited seating and is open to the first 50 registrants only.
